"MRF 2W Rally of Coimbatore 2024", the Final Round of MRF Mogrip-FMSCI 2W Rally Championship 2023 has been conducted successfully by the Coimbatore Auto Sports Club on Sunday, 1st September 2024. The total distance of the route was approximately 106.76 kms, with the Special Stage distance of 60.00 kms.

This last event of the 2 Wheeler INRC Championship happens to be the Championship decider for five classes. Mr. R.E.Rajendra from Team Petronas TVS Racing participating in Class1, riding a TVS RTR 450cc motorcycle, clinched the "Overall Winner of MRF 2W Rally of Coimbatore 2024" and there by this year's Class 1 Championship by posting a lowest penalty of  56 mins and 49 seconds. His team mate from TVS Racing, Mr. Abdul Wahid Tanveer of the same class bagged the "Overall Runner" title with a penalty of  56 mins 54 seconds. Going into this event there was firece competition between Mr. R.E.Rajendra, Mr. Abdul Wahid Tanveer and Mr. Samuel Jacob and the later had to be content with third.

"The track gave ample scope to test the abilities of both Men and Machine by having many technical aspects in its stages. This is one of the finest event I have participated. It ran to perfection", said Mr. R.E.Rajendra -  Overall winner.

“24th Chander Memorial Rally” - All set to go!

It is that time of the year when racing, rally, and navigation enthusiasts in the city get together to participate in one of the most eagerly awaited events of Coimbatore Auto Sports Club (CASC).The “24th Chander Memorial Rally 2023”, for 4 Wheelers will be conducted on 17th December 2023.The rally which has been conducted for the past 23 years without a break is a record in Indian Motorsport for an event run in the memory of a person. Since he lived for Motorsports, his family has been sponsoring the event every year to keep his memory alive among Motorsport enthusiasts. 

The “24th Chander Memorial Rally 2023” is being organized by Coimbatore Auto Sports Club and is sponsored by M.K.Chander Memorial Trust, Vamcy Merla and SGA Cars. The CASC, considered to be one of the most active motorsport clubs in the country, has been organizing motorsport events for several decades now, many of which are rated to be one of the best in India.
