“24th Chander Memorial Rally” - All set to go!
It is that time of the year when racing, rally, and navigation enthusiasts in the city get together to participate in one of the most eagerly awaited events of Coimbatore Auto Sports Club (CASC).The “24th Chander Memorial Rally 2023”, for 4 Wheelers will be conducted on 17th December 2023.The rally which has been conducted for the past 23 years without a break is a record in Indian Motorsport for an event run in the memory of a person. Since he lived for Motorsports, his family has been sponsoring the event every year to keep his memory alive among Motorsport enthusiasts.
The “24th Chander Memorial Rally 2023” is being organized by Coimbatore Auto Sports Club and is sponsored by M.K.Chander Memorial Trust, Vamcy Merla and SGA Cars. The CASC, considered to be one of the most active motorsport clubs in the country, has been organizing motorsport events for several decades now, many of which are rated to be one of the best in India.
BLUEBAND SPORTS RALLY OF COIMBATORE 2023 ::POST EVENT PRESS RELEASE
"Blueband Rally of Coimbatore 2023", the 3rd Round of Blueband Sports FMSCI Indian National Rally Championship 2023 has been conducted successfully by the Coimbatore Auto Sports Club on Sunday, 30th July 2023.

The total distance of the route was approximately 236.62 kms, with the Special Stage distance of 123.08 kms. Total 5 stages likely Day 1 - BBS 10.40kms, SM Agro 8.50kms (Trice) and Day -2 Black Thunder 18.20Kms and Thunder world 14.99kms(Twice).
The stages are set inside the private wind farms near Vellalur (Near G square) and Kethanur (Palladam) area, and it promises to be a treat to watch. A service Park is established near Pedampalli and Kethanur for the competitors to service and refuel their vehicles.
Mr.Aroor Arjun Rao and Co-driver Sathish Kumar Rajagopal from Mandovi Racing in INRC Class, Driving a Baleno RS, and clinched the "Overall Winner of Blueband Sports Rally of Coimbatore 2023" by posting a lowest penalty of 1 Hr. 53 mins and 48 seconds. Mr. Philippos Matthai and Co-driver P.V.Srinivas Murthy from Arka Motorsports bagged the "Overall Runner" title with a penalty of 1 Hr.54 mins 20 seconds.
Mr.Premnath Kasinath, Director, Bluband Sports were the Chief Guest for the Podium Ceremony function which was held at Vinayaga Mahal Kalyana Mandapam, Kethanur Sunday, 30th July 2023 at 04.30 PM.
